I'm Christian. I grew up in New York with Latin roots, and my first kitchen was my grandma's. I was small, standing next to her while rice, beans, braised pork chops and flan all came together at once. So many moving parts, and every one of them tasted beautiful.

Later I worked as a sous chef, and that feeling never left me: the best part of the job is a table that leaves happy.
